Hanover High School is committed to being a sustainable school through student driven initiatives. We have an Environmental Club that meets weekly as well as student-run full-functioning compost and recycling programs. The value of a pollinator garden planted on campus by students in the summer of 2018 is explained through beautiful paintings by a 2019 HHS graduate. A Climate Action Plan written by Hanover Students for Hanover High School will hopefully be implemented in the fall of 2019 and is the first Climate Action Plan ever written for a high school. As a school, we hope to move from sustainable systems to regenerative systems that will support and grow the ecosystems upon which humanity depends. Hanover High School continues to be a leader in sustainability initiatives -- learn all about them here!
