Did you know that the Friends of Hanover Norwich Schools has been funding special projects and start-up programs in our school district since 1961? These projects are proposed by our creative and dedicated teachers and administrators, and are designed to enrich the student experience. Recent grants have funded a variety of new and innovative projects, including:

  • District-wide curriculum audit
  • Library technologies
  • Coding kits
  • Playground enhancements
  • New courses in sculpture and design technology
  • Recycling initiatives
  • Musical instruments

Grants are made possible with donations from local families. Support the Friends with a year-end charitable contribution, and you will help support our students. http://www.fhns1961.org/

Thank you!

Order your 2020 Yearbook

Online yearbook orders are open. Go to: https://hanoverhigh.picaboo.com to place your order and pay online. Or you can place your order by sending in a check for $65 payable to Hanover High School to Jessica Eakin (in the library).

Senior Parents!

The yearbook has several features specifically for seniors:

  • Parent Ads: Go to Picaboo to purchase and design your parent ad. Parent ads go at the end of the yearbook and are a message you send to your child or to the class of 2020. Learn about purchasing and designing your ad.

  • Senior Photos: The yearbook uses student ID photos, but seniors can submit an alternative photo. The photo does not have to be a professional photo. Send alternative senior photos to: jessica.eakin@hanovernorwichschools.org

  • Senior Sections: Every senior gets a third of a page to design. Seniors will learn more about creating their senior section at a class meeting in November. Students are responsible for creating their senior sections.

We are still in need of host families for the New England Music Festival-being hosted at Hanover High School March 19-21. Please email our housing chair Bettina Read at 2020nemfahousing@gmail.com  if you can host 2 students for their stay! Approximately 400 students need to be placed in caring homes.
