Another exciting week at Hanover High School, there is so much going on and it’s rewarding to see the students involved in a myriad of activities, all while adhering to the COVID protocols. I remind everyone to stay vigilant and adhere to the COVID protocols.
Teachers are busy wrapping up the first semester and planning for the second semester. Students have received their second semester schedules, please reach out to their respective school counselor if you have any questions.
I am including the calendar that will be used for in-person learning over the next couple of weeks along with the daily schedule for the second semester. Only those students that need to make up a culminating experience will be at HHS on January 25th. Your student should make arrangements with their teacher if a make-up is needed. Students only have to report to HHS at the designated make-up time.
End of First Semester:
Monday 1/18 - Holiday no school
Tuesday 1/19 - HHS will follow the regular Monday Schedule (1, 3, 5, 7)
Wednesday 1/20 - All in-person students report to school. HHS will follow the Tuesday Schedule (2, 4, 6 - There will be no Advisory Study.)
Thursday 1/21 - Regular Thursday Schedule (1, 3 , 5, 7)
Friday 1/22 - Regular Friday Schedule (2, 4, 6, study hall)
Monday 1/25 - First semester make-up day. Only those in person students who are in need of a make up exam, must report to school.
Start of Second Semester:
Tuesday 1/26 - All semester 2 classes will meet on an abbreviated schedule:
Wednesday 1/27 - Remote Wednesday: All classes will meet with an extended mid day break for lunch/council/activities .
Thursday 1/28 - Regular Monday/Thursday Bell Schedule (1, 2, Lunch, 3, 4)
Friday 1/29 - Regular Tuesday/Friday Bell Schedule (5, 6, Lunch, 7, Study Hall)
