We made it through our first FULL week! It was wonderful to have everyone back in the building. Our students and staff did a great job navigating our new schedule and adhering to our COVID protocols.
On the first day of school, I challenged our students to think of a way they could contribute to our school community. It does not have to be a time consuming or huge idea. It only needs to be beyond the hard work they do in their individual classes and extracurricular activities. If you have a chance, please brainstorm ideas with them around your dinner/ breakfast table. It would be interesting to hear about some of those conversations, so feel free to share what you discussed with me.
There are several weekend games. Our outdoor protocols are different from our in-school protocols. These outdoor protocols have been approved by the Pandemic Response Committee in consultation with our School Doctor and Town Administration. There is no mask or distancing requirement outside. This matches the Town and Dartmouth outdoor event requirements. If the health of our school changes, we will pivot. If anyone feels uncomfortable with our outdoor expectations, they should not feel any pressure to attend an outdoor event. Attendance is optional!
Enjoy the long weekend and here are a few reminders and announcements.
