About Us

Youth-in-Action is a community service organization run by a paid Director, Jodi Lenning, and a volunteer Board of Directors. Youth-in-Action provides community service opportunities with many local organizations including, among others, Towns of Hanover and Norwich, CHaD, The Listen Center, David's House, Hanover Conservancy, Upper Valley Land Trust, Special Needs Support Center, the Dismas House, and The Upper Valley Haven. Other events are one time occasions in response to community needs, or projects driven by student interest. We welcome interest from the community about potential partnerships. 

We invite Hanover High School students (and families!) to participate in any and all of our community service opportunities. Upcoming events can be found on our calendar and in the Principal's Weekly, which is emailed very Friday to all students and families.

Our Student Leadership Committee is comprised of 8 students and is essential in driving our mission to make community service an internal part of Hanover High School.
