Our Mission
Hanover High School is an active learning community that provides broad academic and co-curricular programs. We engage students' minds, hearts and voices so that they become educated, caring and responsible adults.
Learning
At Hanover High School all students are given the opportunity to use their minds to pursue excellence, academic challenge and personal success and their voices to contribute to the democratic process and the common good.
Enrichment
At Hanover High School all students are given the opportunity to use their hearts to respect and care for the emotional and physical well-being of themselves and others, and for the environment.
Resources
At Hanover High School students have the luxury of being in a “wrap around” environment of school resources that apply to every student.

Students under 16 years of age who want to work at a money-earning job in NH must have a work permit. To obtain a work permit, a student should:

1. Have a definite job offer.

2. Be passing in all courses.

3. Be able to present an official form of identification such as a birth certificate, driver's license or form of identification with a birth date.

4. Request the work permit from the school receptionist at the Main Office during regular work hours.
