Hanover High School has three student-produced publications, the school newspaper, The Broadside, the school yearbook, INDE and the literary magazine, The Pen of Iron.

The Broadside

This school newspaper has become a forum for in-school political editorials as well as reporting Hanover High School events. Students from all grades may participate to make this publication meaningful for the school community. The school paper was once named The Harpoon and editions from 1937-1943 are available in our digital archives. Archives of the Broadside from 2008-present are also available online.

The INDE is the school’s yearbook. Directed by senior editors under the supervision of a faculty advisor, significant contributions are made by student staff members from all classes.

Pen of Iron

The school literary magazine, The Pen of Iron, is a sounding board for students. In it, they can publish art, essays, poetry, and short stories. It is managed and produced by students with the help of a staff advisor.
